Originally from Boston, I moved to NYC back in 2018 and worked in different industries like travel, fashion, and tech before I decided to become a nail artist full-time. I held these corporate roles where I was told I could be creative, but there were too many straining limitations. I thought my creativity could be utilized and appreciated in another way to its full potential after a large wave of tech layoffs at the end of 2022.
I started my nail career back in 2020 but went indepdenand have been able to work with great artists like Mo Qin at her salon Oh My Nails! in the East Village, as well as learn to work in a commercial capacity with her and Holly Falcone. I went independent in 2024. Some brands that I’ve worked with include Glossier, Revlon, Tory Burch, Google, Lapointe, among others.
I met Marisa by working Sandy Liang’s NYFW show a couple of years ago and now we are here together!

Born and raised Jersey Girl that has been living in NYC for a decade now. I grew up coming into the city almost every weekend for as long as I can remember. I was always infatuated with the ever evolving creative world here. I got my NY cosmetology license right out of high school and the rest is history!
I started off in hair and makeup. After 2020, I decided to switch my career to a long time passion of mine- nail art! My nail business has been growing since 2021 and it has been incredibly fulfilling. I’ve gotten to work with exciting brands and individuals such as Sandy Liang, Hypebae, Coach, Rayvin Huger, Ivy Mugler and more.
I also love visiting new places and have been lucky enough to travel to do nail art. Mano Nail Studio in Miami, FL and Isla Berlin in Germany graciously hosted me as a resident guest nail artist in 2024. I can’t wait to see where else in the world nail art can take me and my bestie Lily!

Born and raised on the Lower East Side, I returned to New York City after earning my BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2020 and immediately found my passion in the local nail art world! I had the opportunity to learn from some of New York City’s best nail technicians working in salons like Akiko Nails before going independent in 2023. Now with over 5 years of full time salon experience, I love to push the limits of nail art and take my clients’ nail concepts to the next level!
I love to blend the latest nail art trends from around the world with a fine art sensibility. My favorite part of my job is getting to try out endless new techniques while reflecting my clients’ uniqueness in my work! As Claws 627’s newest resident artist, I couldn’t be more thrilled to be working alongside such cutting-edge and talented nail techs in the neighborhood I love!
